Then I was able to imagine the land that Tolkien created a lot better. The third book became my favorite - and yes, I'll say it - at the end, I wept. (well, not quite the end, just before) It was so good and there was so much that made me think of Jesus. I loved the third book. <br />The third movie did not do the end of the third "volume" (as you'd rather) the justice it deserved, but was pretty good nonetheless.<br /><br />All this to say - I bet you like the third one best, now that you've read the first two. AND I bet that when you finish the third one you will totally be ready for a light and easy book and I recommend "My Life in France" by Julia Child.
